2012 LUZON TYPHOON RELIEF PROJECT

The recent typhoon in the Philippines displaced many families in Nasugbu, Batangas, and Sta. Cruz, Laguna. In partnership with the Parish Social Action Committee (PSAC) of San Vicente Ferrer Parish, Pusong Pinoy donated 5,000 packs of ramen noodles; 4,000 cans of sardines; 2,000 liters of water; and 15 sacks of rice to 500 displaced families.
On August 16, 2012, PSAC delivered food and water to 350 displaced families in Nasugbu, Batangas. Eight days later, they set sail on flooded waters to distribute the remaining 150 relief packs to flood victims in hard-to-reach areas in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Despite intermittent heavy downpours, smiles abounded as PSAC volunteers delivered relief goods donated by Pusong Pinoy heroes. Some of the flood victims were moved to tears over the kind gesture of our amazing volunteers.

Thank you to all the HEROES for stepping up to make a donation for this project!  Click HERE for the list of donors and items donated.
